Rain Shortens 360 Feature at Ohsweken Speedway.

Mother nature decided to rear its ugly head before and during the 360 feature event at Ohsweken Speedway.

Phillips started the 5th in his heat race and finished 4th in the running order putting him in the 11th starting spot for the main event. Just before the call to head to the warm up track to get fired for the feature the rains moved in but didn’t last long and the drivers got the call to head to the track. During the feature the rain came back but not enough to halt the race until lap 11 of the feature when the racing surface became un raceable. Kyle had raced his into the 8th position and was on the move and looked to be breaking into the top 5 before the rains came.

The feature was deemed complete by officials.

Next up for Kyle Phillips Racing will be Ohsweken Speedway on June 11th for Plazek Auto Recyclers/Braemar Buildings Night when the Southern Ontario Sprints Tour make their 1st visit to Ohsweken Speedway this year.
