Kyle Phillips records his 5th top 10 finish of the 2026 season at Ohsweken Speedway.

Kyle started 3rd in his heat race and finished 5th in the running order after having problem navigating some rough spots in the track, After inspection of the car after the heat race the crew found a bent steering rod which was believed to have happened when he bicycled through the hole in turn one. The team went to work to prepare the car for the feature event.

Starting 15th for the feature event, Kyle wasted no time claiming 3 spots in the 1st lap of the race and held his ground until the first red flag of the event as Kevin Pauls and fellow GSR team mate Aaron Turkey got together sending them both flipping in turn 1.  After the restart Phillips starting working his way up the order and got himself to 9th postion when the red flag flew again on lap 16 when 2nd place runner at the time Jacob Dykstra lost the handle on his car and clobbered the turn 4 outside wall. On the restart Phillips started 8th and slid back to 9th and spent the remainder of the event swapping spots with Skyler Evans. Evans would get Phillips by .21 seconds at the line on lap 25 putting Phillips in 10th place at the end of the event.

Next up for Kyle Phillips Racing will be Ohsweken Speedway on June 19th for Inst-Insulations & Styres Gas Bar Night at Ohsweken Speedway.
