Phillips Makes 1st Career Appearance With High Limit

The High Limit 410 Racing Series rolled into town at Ransomville Speedway and Kyle Phillips and the KPR team took advantage and made their first attempt at racing with the elite series. With Ransomville being home turf for Phillips it was a no brainer to take a stab at the event.
Although Phillips car has a 360 cubic inch engine on occasion when the track gets slick the 360 engine can be competetive with the 410 cubic inch engines. Phillips start 8th in the heat race and finished 8th not qualifying for the main event but still had one last shot in the B-Main.
Phillps started 10th in the B-Main and was holding his ground fairly well and recording lap times faster than a handful of larger powerplants. The field would come to a halt under red flag conditions after a nasty wreck causing both Jonathan Preston and Dale Gosselin. By the ending of the B Feature Kyle would finish 8th gaining 2 spots and not allowing one car to pass him in the B Feature.
Although Phillips did not qualify for the main event the evening was still a success. Being able to race against the professional sprint series driver and being spotlighted on the Flo Racing broadcast gave Phillips some great exposure.
